Janet Zhou is the current Executive Director of the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development (ZIMCODD). Prior to this role, she served as the Programmes Director for ZIMCODD.  She also served as ZIMCODD’s Southern Regional Programmes Officer.  Janet holds a Master of Science in International Relations and Bachelor of Science Degree in Politics and Administration from the University of Zimbabwe amongst other professional qualifications.  Janet is highly experienced with 14 years’ experience in the NGO sector both at national and SADC level. She is a confident and practical human rights defender who is self-driven to become an efficient and effective professional capable of monitoring, analysing and advising on developmental issues, advocacy and influence of policies at all levels. She currently sits in a number of boards and leads in a number of citizens’ initiatives such as the Citizens Cabinet, the Oxfam Zimbabwe Inequality Report Reference Group on Inequality among others. As the ZIMCODD Executive Director, she is responsible for the overall implementation of the policies as enunciated by the National Board, oversees the formulation and implementation of the ZIMCODD strategy, annual plans, resource mobilisation, financial management and team management of the coalition.

Her interests are in transformational leadership, organisational development, human rights based frameworks, building citizens agency and policy advocacy. She is an avid social and economic rights defender who is fearless to put herself in the front lines for social and economic justice for all. 

Joyce Mutsau is the current Finance and Administration Manager for the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development (ZIMCODD). Before joining ZIMCODD in December 2018, she served as Finance Officer with FHI360 Zimbabwe.

As the ZIMCODD Finance and Administration Manager, she is responsible for the overall financial management and administration of ZIMCODD. She oversees the budgetary processes, implementation of policies as well as monitoring compliance with both Funding Partners regulations and local laws.

Joyce holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Applied Accounting from the Oxford Brooks University amongst other professional qualifications.  

Joyce is highly experienced with over 25 years of experience in the NGO sector both international, regional and local organisations having worked for the European Union, IUCN Zimbabwe, USAID, John Snow Inc, Southern African Power Pool and SAFAIDS. She is a confident, hardworking and self driven lady.

  

 

 

 

John Maketo is the current Programmes Manager at the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development (ZIMCODD). John holds a Masters Degree in Development Studies and B.A Honors Degree in Development Studies from Midlands State University. John possesses twelve (12) years working experience in the NGO and civil society sector in Zimbabwe with bias in economic governance issues in particular public finance management, anticorruption work in public and private sector working with parliament, media and civil society. John once worked for Care International in Zimbabwe, 2015 -2016, Transparency International-Zimbabwe (TI-Z), 2006-2011 and National Association of NGOs (NANGO), 2011-2012, Zimbabwe Community Development Trust (ZCDT) and the African Parliamentary Network against Corruption (APNAC).

His skills include; ToT Facilitation and Training Skills, Fundraising and Resource Mobilization, Budget Monitoring and Expenditure Tracking and Project Design, Monitoring and Evaluation.

 

 

 

 

 

Confidence Tendai Bobo is the Campaigns and Advocacy Officer for the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development. She holds a MA in Development Studies from Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands and a BSc. Hon. Degree in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe. 

Tendai is a socio-economic development practitioner with special interest in democracy and governance; foreign and national public economic policy; and trade, livelihoods & climate justice. 

 

 

Batsirai Magocha is an Intern at the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development. She is studying towards an Honours Degree in Development studies at Midlands State University.  

 

Tafadzwa Chikumbu is a Socio-Economic Analyst at the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development with considerable experience in Research, Lobby and Advocacy on Tax Justice, Trade and Industrial Policy, Domestic Resource Mobilisation, Mineral Revenue and Debt Management. 

Tafadzwa Chikumbu holds a Master of Arts in Economic Policy Management from the University of Zambia and a BSC in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe. 

Prior to joining ZIMCODD, he worked for Action Aid in Uganda and Vietnam, the African Forum and Network on Debt and Development, and the Government of Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce, where he obtained vast experience in lobby and advocacy with SADC, East African Community, COMESA, Pan African Parliament, and the SADC Parliamentary Forum and the AU High Level Panel on Illicit financial Flows. 

He is experienced in engaging governments at national, regional and international levels.   Tafadzwa Chikumbu  is experienced in building and nurturing networks and coalitions having done significant work in Malawi, Uganda, Vietnam, Zambia and Zimbabwe. 

Florence Ndhlovu is the current Active Citizen and Community Mobilising Officer at the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development, (ZIMCODD) based in the Southern Region. Prior to this position she saved as a Global Campaigns Manager for Beyond Violence, Regional Coordinator for Zimbabwe Human Rights Association in Matabeleland and carried out Development Consultancy work under NALA consultancy firm.

Florence holds a Master of Science in Peace, leadership and Conflict resolution and a Bachelor in Media Studies from the Zimbabwe Open University, ZOU and number of International and Regional certificates in human rights and peace building.

With her vast experience of 15 years in the NGO sector nationally and at Regional level. She has acquired skills in project planning management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Florence is a hard worker and passionate about community development. Besides being an open minded person Florence is a proactive person who is able to present creativity in her work. As the Active Citizen and Community Mobilisation officer, Florence is responsible for development of a citizen participation and engagement strategy, Recruit members for the organisation and leads in social movement building. She carries out baseline surveys, Collect and document community voices on socio economic justice. Developstraining manuals for civic education, coordinate and carry out citizens’ trainings to enhance economic literacy and Links local citizens to regional and international levels e.g. at SAPSN level. Her interests are community development, human rights, and citizen’s empowerment. Florence is a devoted and passionate human rights defender.

 

Angellah Mandoreba is currently the Information and Communications Officer at the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in English and Communication from Midlands State University. Angellah Mandoreba is an excellent communicator and posseses experience in media and corporate communications.

 

Nqobazitha Mlambo holds BSc (Hons) Sociology from the University of Zimbabwe. 

He is a former Student Activist with the Zimbabwe National Students’ Union (ZINASU, 2012-2016). Nqobazitha Mlambo is a Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Zimbabwe Alumnus. He is also a Blogger and Vlogger.

 

Lydia Dhliwayo is currently the Administration Assistant at the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development (ZIMCODD). Before her current position, she served as a Receptionist/Secretary at ZIMCODD. 

Lydia holds a Diploma in Administration/Management from the British College of Professional Management.

Lydia has 18 years of experience with ZIMCODD. She is a dedicated administrative assistant with years of experience in assisting the management of large and small projects from different funding partners. Lydia possesses a high level of personal and professional integrity. 

 

 

Ellen Chipunza is currently employed as a Programmes Assistant at Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development (ZIMCODD). Prior to this role, she served as the Admin Assistant for ZIMCODD.  Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in History (2002) from the University of Zimbabwe

 

 

Moses Bayai is currentLly a Finance Assistant at the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development (ZIMCODD). He is a mature and dynamic person studying towards ACCA qualification. He is culturally sensitive to sound ethical principles, objectivity and professional behaviour. Moses possesses excellent decision making capabilities and is hard working. He is adaptable to emerging technologies and their commercial applications.

Edward Sandaraki is currently the Security Officer at the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development (ZIMCODD) having served the coalition since 2004. 

Edward is a dedicated Security Officer with over 20 years experience in the security sector. He once worked for Nets and Ropes from 1990-1994, BAK Storage from 1996-2000 and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development from 2000 to 2004. 

 

 

Stephen Chigumira is currently the Office Orderly at the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development (ZIMCODD) having served the coalition since 2002. 

Stephen is a dedicated Office Orderly with over 20 years of experience in the sector and possesses high level of ability to efficiently plan, organize and prioritize activities. He is attentive to detail and thrives for accuracy. He once worked for GeoSearch from 1998-2000 and Environmental Hygienic Services from 2001-2002. 

 

Vulindlela Ndlovu is the current Strategic Information & Evaluation Officer at Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development. He has extensive experience stretching for 11 years in the field of monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning. Before joining ZIMCODD he has previously worked with International NGOs such as Oxfam GB and World Vision Zimbabwe. 

 

 

 

Emily Shoriwa is a Finance & Admin Officer at the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development (ZIMCODD). She joined the organisation in November 2018. She works with the Finance team to ensure that the finance and admin function of the organisation is taken care of.

Emily holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Accountancy Honours Degree from the University of Zimbabwe. Emily is a member of ACCA and a Registered Public Accountant with the PAAB of Zimbabwe. Emily is highly experienced with 18 years of experience in both the private and NGO sector. Emily is an all-rounder, with competencies in working in multi-cultural and cross-generational environments, youth, women and girls. She has a rare hand for transforming ideas into action and action into results and an affinity with success building projects from nothing to wonders.

 

 

 

 

Muchanyara Midzi

Muchanyara Midzi is the Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant for the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development (ZIMCODD). She has experience spanning over 8 years in monitoring, evaluation and learning of development projects and programmes in Zimbabwe, Eastern and Southern Africa. She holds a Diploma in Project Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation from Africa Learning and Development Network; a BSc Degree in Psychology; and an MSc in Development Studies from the Women’s University in Africa.

Tinashe Madondo is the current Research and Evidence Officer at the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development. He holds a Master of Arts in Development Studies (MSU), BA History and Development Studies, Hons (MSU) and a Certificate in Project Monitoring and Evaluation (UZ).
